SHARES IN Lambert Howarth yesterday jumped 41.5p to 315p after the footwear and homeware company reported a 72 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to pounds 4.6m in the first half of 1999.
The group, which relies on Marks & Spencer for 90 per cent of its sales, said its boosted results represented a "significant achievement".
