MALAYSIA is prepared to allow British companies to participate in its new dollars 8bn ( pounds 4bn) airport project, in return for landing rights on the London- Manchester-New York route. A Malaysian minister said he had asked that Britain review its earlier rejection of his country's request for the landing rights. Last month, British Airways opposed Malaysia's request for rights to fly to New York via Manchester.
