Map for finding capital
ALL you need to make a successful business, it is said, is one good idea. But perhaps more important is money.
Although there is no shortage of sources of finance, many businesses do have trouble finding out about them - and how they work.
The launch of Business Moneyfacts should help to change that. A quarterly handbook of business finance, it aims to provide a service for companies akin to the one its monthly sister publication Moneyfacts does for personal investors and borrowers.
The new guide is intended to help finance directors, accountants, financial advisers, solicitors, managing directors and proprietors raise capital.
It is claimed to cover 'all possible' methods of raising capital, including venture capital, commercial mortgages, business loans, factoring and invoice discounting, leasing and remortages.
The publication is available for an introductory period at a half-price annual subscription of pounds 29. Contact: Moneyfacts Publications, Laundry Loke, North Walsham, Norfolk NR28 0BD. Tel: 0692 500765.
