Nestle said it has acquired 80 per cent of the shares of Indonesian noodle maker PT Supmi Sakti. Financial details were not given, but Nestle said the deal is subject to the approval of the Indonesian authorities.
Supmi employs about 1,200 people and had 1993 turnover of about Sfr25m.
