The Treasury has announced plans for the third sale of debt owed to the Government by privatised companies. BT, the National Grid, Scottish Power, Northern Electric, Norweb and SWEB still owe the Treasury a total of pounds 1.25bn. The sale, which is expected to take place early in 1996, follows two earlier auctions worth pounds 1.38bn in November 1992 and pounds 1.76bn in July last year.
