International Airlines Group announces its first set of quarterly results since it was formed out of the merger of British Airways and Iberia.

Analysts and investors will be looking for an update on cost savings and the impact of rising fuel prices. The City will also be taking a look at mining giant Vedanta Resources’ annual results on Thursday. They will want news on Vedanta’s protracted attempt to buy a majority of Cairn Energy’s Indian division.
