Frogmore, the property company run by Paul White, has teamed up with student housing specialist The Mansion Group to buy a block of student digs in east London.

The block was put into receivership by Anglo Irish Bank, the lender to the previous developer of the scheme. Frogmore paid £26.5m through its Frogmore Real Estate Partners II fund, which invests in a range of properties from retirement parks, to hotels, apartments and City offices.
