Lord Mayor promotes UK start-ups abroad

The Lord Mayor of the City of London has helped UK-based business start-ups expand into Brazil and Kenya.

The water management firm Aqua Tractor is in talks with the Kenyan government after a visit led by the Lord Mayor, Michael Bear, while the dual-fuel technology firm The Hardstaff Group has held talks with a potential partner in Brazil. The Lord Mayor, who leaves office next weekend, promotes the City of London worldwide during the year.
