Fashion brands Claudia Sträter and Rianne de Witte, which will be showing at London Fashion Week, which opens on Friday, are the latest companies to join Made-By, the fashion industry's not-for-profit eco-labelling organisation.
Made-by sets sustainability standards throughout the industry by monitoring its supply chain. It grades members on how green and ethical they are. Shoppers can see the grades on clothing labels.
Allanna McAspurn, Made-By's UK director, said: "The world has to become more sustainable and the fashion industry is no different. We work with brands, on a step-by-step process, to improve every aspect of their supply chains."
Made-By, which was launched in the UK last March, has signed up 35 brands across Europe.
