The Japanese car-maker Nissan is recalling thousands of vehicles because of a possible problem with their steering wheels.
The recall, which includes about 7,000 models sold in the UK, affects five-door hatchback Nissan Qashqai models made in 2012 as well as some Qashqai+2 multi-purpose vehicles and 3,000 of the 2012-made NV200 light commercial vehicles.
Nissan said that where necessary steering wheels will be replaced and it thought about 600 vehicles might need attention. The recall came after a steering wheel came loose in Finland. No one was hurt.
