The company, which develops, builds and maintains property, said turnover had increased 24 per cent in the six months to the end of June. Pre-tax profits rose 26 per cent to £4.3m, and Garvis Snook, the chief executive, said it had a forward order book worth about £300m.

Its property development business saw operating profits rise 33 per cent to £2.8m but sales in its repairs and maintenance divisiongrew only 12 per cent, making profits of £800,000.
