VSEL bid progress

The Monopolies and Mergers Commission report on the bids by British Aerospace and GEC for VSEL, the submarine builder, is due to be sent to the Government tomorrow. Michael Heseltine, President of the Board of Trade, is expected to give his views in about two weeks.
