ONE2ONE, the UK's fourth-largest mobile phone operator, yesterday issued a writ against Cellnet claiming that the BT subsidiary was infringing its brand.

One2One claims Cellnet's new "U" brand of pre-paid phone, launched this week and aimed at teenagers and students, is too similar to One2One's "Up 2 You" brand. Cellnet rejects the writ.
