EDDIE IZZARD'S dad was a former president of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Harold Izzard, the father of the cross-dressing comedian, also used to be the head of internal audit at BP. This startling financial connection was used by City spin-doctor Sector PR to justify taking a group of legal and accountancy bigwigs to Izzard Junior's one-off bash last night for the Prince's Trust at Wembley Arena.
