THE PLAN by the US aircraft maker Boeing to develop a 150- seat passenger aircraft in conjunction with Japanese companies has been shelved indefinitely because of insufficient demand, according to the Japanese daily Asahi Shimbun.
In 1984, Boeing launched the project with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Fuji Heavy Industries to develop the B-7J7 plane.
