MUSIC shops may soon be able to reproduce nearly any tape or disc to order within minutes. Blockbuster Entertainment, the US company, claims to have developed technology that will allow customers to wait while their purchase is tailor-made. The computer-based system will allow music retailers to cut their inventories and should also reduce distribution costs.
