THE New York Post has changed hands yet again. A bankruptcy judge has handed the paper to a property developer, Abe Hirschfield - effectively ending Steven Hoffenberg's two- month ownership of the paper.

The judge said Mr Hirschfield was in a better financial position to save the paper, which had been hampered by the bankruptcy of its previous owner, Peter Kalikow.
