Premiums cut

The Pru has slashed building insurance premiums by up to 32%.

The cuts are due to a reduction in the number of claims, and lower building costs, as well as stiffer price competition. Insuring both contents and buildings with the company means a 15% discount. A further 25% switching discount is available to new customers.
