THE PRUDENTIAL is no longer interested in a merger with a retail bank, according to chief executive Sir Martin Jacomb, who said he regards such a deal as "is inherently unattractive".
Prudential has regularly been tipped as a partner for a bank, and detailed discussions with NatWest took place last year.
