Burton Group, the fashion retailer, announced a 90.37 per cent take-up of its pounds 163m rights issue, one of three cash-raising results announced yesterday. Asda, the supermarkets group, reported a 94.3 per cent response and Wessex Water achieved 93.2 per cent. Shareholders not taking up their rights will receive respectively 13.8p, 10.872p and 119p per share. Wessex also said that UK Waste Management had subscribed for 3.02 million new shares at 480p.
