SLOUGH ESTATES, Britain's largest holder of industrial property, plans to be building or have completed 5 million square feet of investment property this year, about half of it without committed tenants.
The chairman, Sir Nigel Mobbs, speaking after the company said net income rose by 0.8 per cent to pounds 33.7m, said he was not worried about speculative development as demand for industrial space was growing.
