Stagecoach, the Perth-based bus operator, was bullish about acquisition opportunities yesterday as it presented its first set of results since flotation in April. Brian Souter, chairman, said the group would concentrate on bidding for bus services as they came up for privatisation. He expected to win two of the 10 London bus companies. The results were in line with forecasts made in Stagecoach's prospectus. The group made pounds 12.9m before tax in the year to 30 April
