Gaelic Resources enjoyed the day's biggest percentage gain, up 0.75p to 2p. The arrival of Greenwich Resources men Colin Phipps and David Quick spurred the action. They are pumping their European Hydrocarbons business into Gaelic in exchange for shares and warrants.
Prime People, a recruitment group specialising in catering and hotels, held at 5.5p. Interim profits emerged at pounds 170,000 and year's figure should be around pounds 450,000 against pounds 126,000.
Shares of oil explorer Emerald Energy are described as a "speculator's dream" by stockbroker Teather & Greenwood. It suggests US interests could be worth 5p a share and Colombian hopes 25p. The price held at 5.25p.
