rBullers slipped 1p to a year's low of 6.25p amid some talk that the company's aspirations to make acquisitions were not going according to plan. David Cunningham, former chairman of Waterglade International who joined almost two years ago and has a 15 per cent stake, harbours ambitions to transform the giftware company into a media group. There was recent speculation that purchases of a 3-D imaging business and a multimedia company were on the way. Most recent records show that Jim Slater, the former financier, and his son hold a 4 per cent shareholding.
rInvestors took a favourable view of a rights issue-funded pounds 7.6m acquisition of three printing businesses by Wyndeham Press. Shares rose 4p to 160p.
