Thorn sells Fona to MBO

Thorn, the struggling Radio Rentals retailer, has sold its Danish electronics group, Fona, to a management buy-out for pounds 76m. Thorn will record an exceptional gain of pounds 15m on the transaction. It will keep its DER rental operation in Denmark.
