National Home Loans confirmed its transformation from near-collapse four years ago. Profits rose 32 per cent to pounds 15.1m and the 1p dividend was the first since March 1991. Net interest income was flat at pounds 20.3m but costs grew from pounds 8.6m to pounds 10.3m.
