ORDERS to American factories for big-ticket durable goods such as cars and computers recorded the worst drop in 15 months during March. Orders fell 3.7 per cent to a seasonally adjusted dollars 130bn (pounds 82m), the sharpest decrease since December 1991, the Commerce Department reported.
