Cancer victim's baby

A 29-year-old nurse who was told she had breast cancer just 12 weeks into her pregnancy has given birth to a healthy son. Sonya Short, pictured above with baby Charlie, decided to refuse chemotherapy and radiation treatment because she knew that it would kill her unborn child. Mrs Short, of Blaydon, Tyne and Wear, began a course of treatment with cancer drugs immediately after the birth.
