INDUSTRIAL POLLUTANTS may help trigger cancer of the pancreas, a Spanish study has found. Of 51 patients, the cancer was more likely in those exposed to compounds such as PCBs used in insulating and cooling electrical equipment 10 years ago, before chemical restrictions.
