Cocaine lowering intelligence

PREGNANT WOMEN who take cocaine lower the intelligence of their children, scientists said. A study in the US said that each year 80,000 of the country's children will fail in school and need special services because they were exposed to cocaine in the womb. The cost of helping them was put at $352m (pounds 220m) a year.
