TWO WEEKS of heavy rain and floods has left 11 Sudanese dead and 50,000 homeless, according to aid agencies.
A report by Sudan's Red Cross and Red Crescent Society estimated that 10,000 homes had been destroyed and urged the international community to provide food, tents and blankets. People living near the Nile have been warned that the level of the river is expected to rise.
