DESPITE UNUSUALLY mild weather in Moscow last week, four people died of exposure and hypothermia and another 15 were hospitalised.
Last year, more than 100 people died of exposure in the city. Most of the victims were homeless people caught in subzero temperatures or those who had been drinking and had passed out on the streets. The deaths brought the number of people who have died of the cold this autumn to 17.
