THE SEASIDE holiday resort of Rhyl on the North Wales coast has been hit by sand storms.
The town, often mocked for its bucket-and-spade, wet-weather-and-caravans image, has suffered two of the storms in the past two days when the promenade and passing cars were blasted by sand blown in from the beach by high winds.
