Cooke held in child sex inquiry

A 71-YEAR-OLD man was being questioned by detectives last night in connection with a series of alleged serious sexual offences in the 1970s, police said. Sidney Cooke was arrested by Thames Valley detectives on Tuesday evening at Yeovil, Somerset.
