Octavius Black/The Mind Gym

In an article published on 14th May 2012 we suggested that Octavius Black, CEO of The Mind Gym and his programme Parent Gym, had been awarded a lucrative government contract as a result of his contacts in government. In fact, Mr Black and Parent Gym do not benefit financially in any way from their inclusion in a government pilot. Further, Parent Gym was accepted to run the pilot programme as a result of a competitive tender process conducted by the DfES. We apologise to Mr Black for suggesting otherwise.
