Damages award

A couple received pounds 750,000 compensation at the High Court in Winchester after a Caesarean section operation ended in tragedy. James Mursell's wife Philippa suffered brain damage as she was prepared for the operation at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, and their new-born child died seven days later.
