Police are interviewing 450 patients of a woman dentist in an investigation following allegations of assault and malpractice.
Diane Wiltshire, of Eastwood, Notts, was detained and then granted bail following a complaint from a patient. She has been removed from the dentists' register, it was officially confirmed by the General Dental Council, the dentists' professional governing body.
A police spokesman said yesterday that more than 100 patients had already been questioned.
