Director quits

Carol Tietjen, personnel director of the former Yorkshire region of the NHS, has resigned her pounds 44,000 post as Director of Human Resources at Oxfam after damning criticism last week by the National Audit Office of her performance in her NHS post. She was accused of failing to declare an interest over contracts let to her husband.
