Police were last night hunting a motorist who shot another driver after a possible road rage row. They believe the men had a disagreement while driving through Croydon, south London, stopped their cars and got out.

The suspect, who was driving a silver R-registration Ford Escort, shot the other man in the lower body. His victim, 46, is in a stable condition in hospital.
