Cardiff and the Welsh Rugby Union are poised to settle their differences and finalise a 10-year loyalty agreement next week. The Arms Park club are the only side from the eight-strong Welsh Premier Division not to have signed a formal contract with the WRU. Once they come to an arrangement they will be paid around pounds 220,000 in back payments from the union.
Cardiff have refused to have television cameras at their ground for league matches, putting the WRU's contract with S4C and HTV at risk.
