Public Services Management Update: Study results

Local authorities in the United States are smaller than their British counterparts, often buy and sell services to other councils, and are keen on contracting out but opposed to competitive tendering, a seminar tomorrow at Bristol University will be told. These are the conclusions of a study tour of local government officials earlier this year.
