Public Services Management Update: Volunteer fears

CHARITIES and voluntary groups could face a funding crisis as a result of local government reorganisation, according to the National Council of Voluntary Organisations. County councils have often been generous supporters of volunteering, and many face abolition. The NCVO fears that successor authorities might not continue to support voluntary groups.
