Scotland's Peter Nicol failed on Thursday night to score a second successive win on Egyptian soil over Jansher Khan, the world champion. He lost 15-8, 12-15, 15-11, 15-10 in his 71 minute, four-game semi-final of the Egyptian Open Championship. Jansher is now just one match away from the next leg in his campaign to win every major event played around next month's World Open in Malaysia, which he has elected not to play.
