Why is everybody talking about it?

This short story festival celebrates one of the most testing literary forms with events and workshops in Charleston.

Is it worth the hype?

Yes, events include Margaret Drabble (above) reading from her new collection, 'A Day in the Life of a Smiling Woman', as well as short stories by her hero, Angus Wilson.

Watch out for

Joseph O'Connor's first short fiction collection in more than 20 years, 'Where Have You Been?'
