EXCLUSIVE OFFICIAL listings of university course vacancies from the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service will be published in The Independent tomorrow.

They are the essential guide for thousands of students who still have to find a university place after receiving their A-level results.

Every year tens of thousands of students use the lists to enter the Ucas clearing service, which matches students with unfilled places at university.

The lists will be published most days from tomorrow until 11 September in The Independent and The Independent on Sunday.
