Ex-minister in court

Former Scottish Office minister Allan Stewart is due to appear at Paisley Sherrif's Court today charged with breach of the peace. Mr Stewart, 52, denies brandishing a pickaxe at demonstrators who were trying to prevent construction of the M77 in Glasgow.
