Noel Gallagher's Epiphone Supernova guitar has been donated by the band Oasis to be auctioned in aid of the BBC Children In Need charity.

The songwriter's guitar - signed by the band - raised pounds 5,290, more than double the estimate as props from the band's latest album sleeve went under the hammer. Fans and collectors scooped up items ranging from a blackboard (pounds 460) to an oversized desk calendar (pounds 5,060) and spent more than pounds 32,000.
