THE former secretary-general of the Gaullist RPR, Jean-Francois Mancel, was expelled yesterday for refusing to shun the extreme right wing National Front. Mr Mancel has indicated that he is ready to forge an alliance with the NF following Sunday's regional elections to block the governing leftist coalition from taking power in his area.
