High Court 'gun' woman remanded
A WOMAN accused of pointing an imitation gun at two High Court judges was remanded in custody when she appeared at a magistrates court yesterday, writes Louise Jury.
Annarita Muraglia, aged 26, whose address was given as unknown, faced Bow Street magistrates, London, after two alleged incidents at the High Court last week.
She was charged with taking an imitation handgun to the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Thursday, intending to make Judges Alexander Beldam and Jonathan Mance believe violence would be used against them. A day later, she is alleged to have returned and faces a similar charge relating to threatening a policewoman.
She was remanded in custody until Friday by magistrate Nicholas Evans. No application for bail was made and reporting restrictions were not lifted.
