Perils of pub trip

Malcolm Freund, 47, the landlord of the Crown Inn at Lexden, Essex, was forced to call in bomb disposal experts after a customer informed him that the "defused" 25lb phosphorous bomb he had been using as a doorstop - and which customers had been tripping over for several years - was still live.
